“ Fantastic little gem in the middle of a tourist hell. Surrounded dead by all inclusive Canadian American tourist reservations- there is this paradise of authentic cuisine - local food, freshly made with attentive service and great prices. Live music and 2 Spanish spearing birds add to the charm. On weekends you might want to make a reservation- people learn quickly about fabulous options. ”
“ My wife and I really enjoyed La Isla. The food was great, staff was very friendly, and they had iguanas all over in the other side of the fence. We dont have them back home so it was cool to see and watch then while we destroyed tacos and margaritas. It's a super small eatery, but was the most authentic feeling place we went to (we where staying at the Haed Rock Resort). I had fish tacos, Mexican salsa (Pico de gallo pretty much) and my wife had guacamole and some kind of burrito. ”
